Bryn is deeply involved in a number of nonprofit enterprises; She began as a board member of Free the Slaves, an international human rights organization dedicated to ending slavery. For three years she co-chaired the organization’s annual Freedom Awards honoring leaders in the anti-slavery movement. She frequently speaks on the subject of slavery and is known as a passionate public speaker.

Bryn went on to co-found Voices4Freedom, aimed at eradicating slavery through education. Recently featured on CNN International, V4F’s program, Schools4Freedom, supports 30 villages (and counting) in Northern India where they are emerging from generations of slavery to permanent freedom. Bryn is also on the board of Jail Guitar Doors, a program that brings musical instruments into prisons. She is the winner of the Hollywood Humanitarian Award for work with inner city kids.
